“ We often forget about Borsalino as it is in Peterculter and we live in town, but this is to our detriment as it is certainly one of the best Italian restaurants in the Aberdeen area. Long established, it is popular and you will usually have to book. The car park is a bit restricted but it is on the main road making walking to it inadvisable. The food is always fantastic. We both had starters and pasta for main course: all dishes were excellent. Dinner for two with a couple of beers and a coffee came to a little over 60, which we considered reasonable. ”

I am gluten and dairy free and have not had a pizza in years because there aren’t any places that do that.Pizza was so delicious! My husband went for gluten free option and he loved it! “ – Great Food, Sneaky Service Charge We had a fantastic meal at Borsalino—the food was excellent, and the service was spot on. Everything from the starters to the mains was full of flavour, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. However, what did rattle our cage a bit was the sneaky addition of a 30 service charge to the bill. No mention of it when they handed it over, just a quiet little extra tucked in there, hoping we wouldn’t notice. When we did spot it, we asked for it to be removed and left a tip on the table instead—because good service should be rewarded, but on our own terms! Would we go back? Absolutely—the food and atmosphere were brilliant. But next time, we’ll be double-checking the bill before we pay! ”
